Demanding proper investigation into the death of Pramod Barma, Manager of Nepal Bank Limited's Bardiya Branch, Barma's family, relatives, and locas staged a demonstration in Ghorahi on Saturday. Barma was found dead hanging from a tree at a jungle in Agaiya of Banke on August 7. Citing that Barma did not commit suicide, instead he was murdered, his wife Parbati Basnet has demanded proper investigation and due punishment to the culprit. She cited the nature of the dead body and the blue marks on different parts of the body as a sign of foul play. Meanwhile, police have arrested Bindu Gyawali, an employee at the Bank and her friend Ashma Khadka in connection with Barma's death. नेपाल बैंक लिमिटेड बर्दिया शाखाका प्रबन्धक प्रमोद बर्माको रहस्यमय मृत्युबारे निष्पक्ष छानविनको माग गर्दै शनिबार घोराहीमा प्रदर्शन गरिएको छ । घोराही निवासी बर्मा साउन २३ गते बाँकेको अगैयास्थित जंगलमा रुखमा झुण्डिएको अवस्थामा भेटिएका थिए । बर्माको आत्महत्या नभई हत्या भएको दाबी गर्दै श्रीमती पार्वती बस्नेतले निष्पक्ष अनुसन्धान गरी दोषिमाथि कारबाहीको माग गरेकी छिन् । शवको प्रकृति हेर्दा र शरिरभरी निलडाम रहेकाले प्रमोदको हत्या नै भएको उनले दाबी गरिन् । यसैबीच प्रहरीले पीडितको किटानी जाहेरीका आधारमा अनुसन्धानका लागि बैंकका कर्मचारी बिन्दु ज्ञवाली र उनकी साथी आश्मा खड्कालाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएको जनाएको छ । दबाब र्‍यालीमा मृतकका आफन्तका साथै विभिन्न क्षेत्रमा क्रियाशील संस्थाका प्रतिनिधि, व्यवसायी, विद्यार्थी र युवाहरुको सहभागिता थियो । तुलसीपुर चोकबाट सुरु भएको र्‍याली जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय, जिल्ला प्रशासन, अदालत, शहिद गेट, दामोदर चोक, न्यूरोड हुँदै तुलसीपुर चोकमा पुगेर समापन भएको थियो । र्‍यालीमा सहभागीहरुले ‘हामीलाई न्याय चाहियो, घटनाको निष्पक्ष छानविन गर्, दोषीलाई कडाभन्दा कडा कारबाही गर्’ जस्ता नारा लगाएका थिए ।
