Health workers in Butwal based AMDA hospital have been agitated citing the alleged manhandling on staffs of the hospital by parents of a child who died at the hospital on Monday. 10-month-old son of Narayan Darlami of Butwal sub-metropolitan city-11, Om Darlami had died while undergoing treatment at the hospital on Monday. Blaming the negligence of the hospital, the parents allegedly manhandled nurse on duty Gyanu KC and others.
Citing safety issue the staffs of the hospital resorted to strike from 1:00 pm on Tuesday shutting down all health service except Emergency.
