A group of local youths from Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-1 Pulchowk staged a transportation strike for few hours citing the apathy of the sub-metropolitan city office towards the deteriorating condition of the road, sewer, and public parks in the city. Blocked transportation by burning tyres on the road. Vehicles travelling to remote parts of Dhanusha through Janakpurdham were affected due to the strike.
