A gun-fire exchange took place between forest patrol team and wood smugglers, who were bringing woods from the National Forest under the Subdivision Forest Office. Chief of the Division Forest Office Parsa, Rajeshworman Shrestha, informed that the forest patrol team fired two rounds in response to the gunshot from the smuggling group targetting them. The forest patrol team recovered four pieces of round wood, four sets of bicycles used to transport wood, two pieces of hand-saws and two pieces of axes from the scene, the forest patrol team said. The recovered items are kept at Division Forest Office Badnihar.
