Man arrested on charge of raping teen

Police arrested 31-year-old Tej Bahadur Rai of Mai Municipality-7 on December 22, on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The victim's relatives filed a complaint against the accused on December 19 stating that Rai raped the girl on December 18.
According to DSP Hemant Bhandari, a rape case has been registered against the accused at District Court. Further investigation is underway. The victim's medical examination was done at Ilam Hospital on December 19.
