Phatuwa Bijayapur Municipality padlocked indefinitely

Employees of Phatuwa Bijayapur Municipality indefinitely padlocked the municipality office on Wednesday afternoon. Hundreds of employees of the municipality including teachers of Bijayapur Secondary school carrying different banners and placards demonstrated against the head of the municipality Gopal Raya Yadav and padlocked the main gate of the municipality citing that they had not received salary since July 2019 due to his negligence.
Employees of the municipality including principal of Bijayapur Secondary School Sudama Yadav, Education Coordinator of the municipality Bunilal Yadav, Health Coordinator Prabhunarayan Patel amongst accused the municipality head of repeatedly reneging on the promise to release salary.
