NSU (Nepal Students Union) Rautahat staged a demonstration in Chandrapur of Rautahat on Monday for half an hour demanding the release of 6 students who were arrested by the police. Cadres of NSU  chanted slogans like "Release innocent students", "Don't cover up corruption" etc. Speaking at a corner assembly following the demonstration student leader of Janajyoti Multiple Campus, Gopal Prashad Humagai said Mayor of Chandrapur Siyaram Kusaha had transferred teachers illegally. He also accused the Mayor of framing the students in the arson of bills to hide the corruption of rupees 2.5 crores.
