A group clash between cadres of two political parties on May 10 in Dhankaul Rural Municipality of Sarlahi district injured 11 people. Cadres of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Nepal Congress clashed over a dispute on the matter of releasing some trucks taken into control by farmers. The political parties were divided about the ways to best resolve the issue. Earlier, the framers had taken the trucks under the control claiming that they would not release the trucks until the sugar industries paid them their dues owed for sugarcane.
