Province 1, Sunsari, Dharan
27 people, who were referred to Dharan from Kachankawall Rural Municipality after tested positive to corona, spent the Friday night outside when BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences refused their admission.
The 27 people reached the hospital on Friday night at around 10 pm. When the hospital did not admit them they were forced to stay on the bus overnight. They even complain that they were not provided food.
There are 67 infected people at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. As there are only 70 ready-made beds in the hospital, there is a problem in getting admission, said Dr. Nirdesh Sapkota, Hospital's Spokesperson.
