Businessmen, political parties, and youths staged a demonstration on July 25 demanding to set up a transport management service office in Lamki, Kailali as they were forced to go to Dhangadhi for any work related to transportation and it's been a waste of time.
A struggle committee was formed on July 21 to pressurize the government to operate a transport office in Lamki. Yagyarup Buda, the coordinator of the struggle committee, said that a memorandum would be handed over to the State's Chief Minister and the Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development and demonstrators has planned to demonstrate in Dhangadhi.
