The prohibitory order issued in Syangja district since July 29 to prevent the spread of Covid-19 has been extended for a further week until August 12. 40 policemen including Superintendent of Police of the district were infected with Covid-19. Of the total 282 who were infected with Covid-19 in the district 198 have recovered, 82 are undergoing treatment and 2 have died.
