Police arrested 41-year-old Keshauraj Neupane of Tilottama-8 in Rupandehi District on October 9 on the charge of human trafficking. He was taking the three girls to sell in India through Nepal-India border.
With the support of Maiti Nepal near the Palhinandan rural municipality-1 located in the Nepal-India border, police arrested Neupane and rescued three girls of the ages 19, 23and 24 years respectively.
Police handed the girls over to their relatives and the victim’s side had lodged a complaint against the accused on October 9.
