Locals padlocked the main gate of the office of Tripura Sundari rural municipality in Salyantar of Dhading district and staged a sit-in in front of the area police office demanding justice and compensation for a woman killed in an accident involving the dozer. A local woman, 45-year-old Sarswati Kumal, died after being hit by a dozer near the village on March 2.
They further alleged the local representatives of not supporting the locals in terms of compensation and justice. They state that they were forced to agitate after the driver and dozer owner did not come in contact so far.
