Locals and police clashed in Jitpur Simara Ward-2 of Bara while trying to open the lock of the Jagdamba Steel Industry. The local ward had padlocked the industry on February 23, however, the police reopened it on March 15. After police broke the lock, locals picketed the industry which led to the clash.
Jagdamba Steel Pvt. Ltd. had installed new machinery for vehicle parking and warehousing without permission from the local level administration. And, during the course of machine instalment, local's houses were cracked, so the locals had padlocked the industry.
