Workers of Hulas Wire Industries in Budhiganga rural municipality of Morang have staged a sit-in in front of the gate of the industry demanding the reinstatement of the dismissed workers. They are agitated after the industry laid off 93 workers who had been working for three to 14 years were fired by the industry.

Out of 93 workers who went to the Labor Office in Biratnagar on July 6 to lodge a complaint saying that the industry had not given them an appointment letter and stopped them at work on July 7, 2021, Although the industry had agreed to pay the minimum wage and appointment letter on July 5, 2020, the complaint was lodged at the Labor Office after it was not implemented.
