Shrihari Thapa, Vice President of the Valley's Federation of Nepali Journalists Associate, is accused of attempting to assault Shambhu KC, Ward Chairman of Chandragiri Municipality-7 in the vaccination site. According to the police, there was a dispute at the health centre where the vaccine was being administered. Thapa also allegedly threw the medicines in the vaccination centre. He is being further questioned by the police at Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, Balamb. Thapa had an old rivalry with Ward Chairman KC after he got defeated in the last local level election from the CPN (UML) as the ward chairman of the same ward
