The CSIT Association of Nepal, which has been demanding that the examination of Tribhuvan University should be conducted through alternative methods, padlocked the office of Prof. Dr Binil Aryal's, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology. General Secretary Ashish Giri said that the students studying BSc CSIT demanded that the examination should be held by an alternative method and that another examination date should be fixed for the students who are in critical condition due to corona infection.
The Dean's Office has made public the examination schedule of the sixth semester from August 15, the second semester from September 1 and the fourth semester from September 16. Sociology graduates of Tribhuvan University staged a protest in front of the Tribhuvan University clock tower on August 11 demanding postponement of the examination in physical presence. The government on August 16 decided to vaccinate students appearing for various levels of university-level examinations on the basis of their admission cards. But the students have expressed dissatisfaction saying that the government's decision was made only for media hype.
