Chief of Banke Kohalpur Municipality Health Branch Anil Sen Thakuri has been accused of assaulting an employee. It is alleged that Thakuri physically assaulted Gehraj Khanal, a senior health officer working in the health department on September 17, when  Khanal asked for a list of drugs to buy during the questions raised about buying drugs for coronavirus, the branch chief Thakuri slapped him.

Khanal's face and body have been injured in the incident. The victim Khanal has lodged a complaint to Kohalpur Municipality Chief Administrative Officer Topendra KC and to Area Police Office Kohalpur.Accused Thakuri claims that he did not commit any crime. According to Thakuri, there was only a general argument after Khanal's complaint notes was torn.
