Labors padlocked the ward office in Siraha over remuneration issues

Labours padlocked the Siraha Naraha rural municipality-1, ward office after they were not paid the remuneration under the Prime Ministers self-employment program. According to the demonstrators, there was a total of 43 labours, they were not paid for the work they have done for the past 5 months and even though they demanded the remuneration time and again, the ward office was indifferent to their demands. The protestors complained that the ward office has not paid 10 lakhs 75 thousand remunerations of 43 labours which is Re. 25,000 per labour. The ward chairperson claimed that he has done his part of the work but the remuneration of the labours was not paid because of the negligence of the staff which resulted in the delay to make the cheque in the same fiscal year.
