Chitwan police used tear gas to disperse the crowd during a protest over a child's death in a bus accident. On October 10, an 8-year-old boy was killed when a bus (Ba 1 Pa 1284) hit him at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-7 Bikas Chowk. The boy was rushed to Bharatpur Hospital, where doctors declared him dead, according to DSP Thapa. Locals had also protested on the same issue. According to the police, they use tear gas to keep the crowd under control.
