Reportedly 14 Nepali migrant workers who are in Qatar on foreign employment have not received their salary for 3 months. They reached Qatar through Motherland Overseas in Kathmandu around 3 months ago. The migrant workers have also complained that their pay and facilities were also not on par with the contract they signed with Specialized Trading and Contracting Company under which they are currently working in Qatar.
Tek Bahadur Paudel the proprietor of Motherland Overseas said that he had been informed about the non-payment of the 14 immigrants. He said that he had taken initiatives to provide them their salary within the next 3 days.
