Ram Chamar,18 of Bhrahmapuri Rural Municipality-8 has been seriously beaten by the newly elected ward chairman along with the villagers on charge of having relationship with non-dalit girl. He was even given a cheat to pay Rs 14,00,000 from the victim.
Ram Chamar and local Salma Baitha,17 had a relationship since few month and the victim was severely beaten on charge of having relationship. He was abducted and beaten by the ward chair Shyam Babu Rai and Raghubir Rai in a movie style.
The victim’s father Gagan Dev said that after beating they were asked to compensate with Rs 14,00,000 by making a paper work.
The victim demanded for the serious action against the accused involved in the incident. The victim had lodged complaint at National Dalit Society..
