The locals did not allow people who came from India to enter the village even though they stayed in quarantine and have confirmed negative to corona infection.
"The community has not allowed the people to enter the village/house even after being kept in quarantine for seven days in Beni and undergoing PCR test," said Annapurna Rural Municipality's Chairperson Dam Bahadur Garbuja. The community has not agreed to keep them in-home quarantine.
According to Garbuja, the people who returned from quarantine are seven people of Dana, one of Narchang, one of Paudwar, and seven of Histan have been kept in the ward office and some in empty houses and barns away from the village. Similar problems have been seen in Beni Municipality, Malika, and Mangala Rural Municipality.
