Institutional School Teachers’ Union has started a sit-in-protest against schools for not paying their salaries, even after collecting fees from the parents during the lockdown. Teachers organized sit-ins in front of the Education and Coordination Unit, Kanchanpur. Union President Dhananjay Joshi stated that the teachers and employees were a part of an hour-long-sit-in demanding remuneration till July, stop removal of employees from service, and continuance to services and facilities that were given to the teachers before lockdown.
