Health workers and employees of Matrisisu hospital of Pokhara Metropolitan-16, Kaski, staged a protest at the hospital premises from Tuesday, demanding risk allowance of COVID-19 period. They started agitation from Tuesday and continued it on Wednesday.

The Gandaki Province government had decided to give risk allowance to all the doctors, nurses and health workers working in Lockdown period since last fiscal year. The agaitated health workers say that they have not got the allowance as per the decision, said Laxman Poudel, information officer of the hospital.
