Doctors and nurses working at the Koshi Hospital COVID-19  treatment center in Biratnagar staged a protest by stopping their work after not getting the minimum facilities prescribed by the government. Except for one nurse sent by the Ministry of Social Development, others have quit their jobs and joined the protest. The agitated health workers have demanded the minimum facilities prescribed by the government to rejoin the work. The Ministry of Social Development has given salary allowance and facilities to the contract doctors, nurses, and paramedics till November.
