Ten points manifesto issued, demanding gender equality and victim's justice

Two days meeting of women conflict victims were held in Kathmandu on June 9 issuing a ten points manifesto with the demand of access in justice for conflict victim women, gender equality, political address and commitments. The demand in manifesto includes ensuring the participation of conflict victim women in justice process of TRC and CIED by respecting the rights secured by Human Rights declaration and supporting women in a leadership role along with meaningful participation of women in every parts of political process. In a program organized by Peace, justice and democracy for inclusive women network, conflict victim women from 20 districts have shown their determination to move forward and not just always shrinking by being conflict victims.
