Conflict victims stage sit-in in Kaski demanding to make transitional justice bill victim friendly

Conflict-affected society staged a sit-in in front of the District Administrative Office of Pokhara of Kaski on March 31, demanding to make the transitional justice bill victim-friendly. The demonstrators agitated against the introduction of the Transitional Justice-related Investigation, Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Opinion) Bill-2079 in the House of Representatives. Badri Bahadur KC, Chairperson of Gandaki, a conflict-affected society, demanded to correct the flawed bill as the bill was aimed at providing immunity for heinous crimes.
