The certainty popped up to address the optimum violation of human rights by the state, brutal repression, and loss of lives of innocent people during the silent protest. During the meeting with Mr. Upendra Yadav, President of Federal Socialist Forum in London, the executive director of Amnesty International South Asia Mrs. Jamin Kaur assured that the guilty will be punished as per the law and orders. Mr. Yadav has requested Amnesty International to investigate the incidents and take strict actions against those who are responsible for the brutal repression during the Terai protest. Yadav has informed Amnesty International that during the protest, the Nepal Government with the support of the Armed Police Force, violated human rights to the fullest and tortured people a lot. Yadav and Kaur discussed investigating the incidents and taking the guilty to the International Court of Justice. According to Kaur, Amnesty was observing the incidents since the very beginning and that they will take necessary actions immediately. Alongside Kaur and Yadav, who is also the organizer of Federal Alliance, South Asia Pacific Program’s high official Aura Freeman too joined this program. In the meeting that took place a few days back with Mr. Yadav, officials who are responsible for UK Government’s affairs in Afghanistan and Pakistan have suggested addressing the collective opinion of the victimized community and to amend the constitution.
