Okhaldhunga/ June 20 The investigation committee formed in Okhaldhunga by Local Peace Committee to process the applications of armed conflict victims has not been functional leaving the victims waiting for relief. The committee was formed with the representatives from among five political parties in the district by the meeting held on June 8 by local peace committee. There were total of 1800 applications were lodged at local peace committee. The district administration office could not distribute the relief since the last three years due to the problem in identifying the victims. After the delay in investigation on application, another investigation committee was formed on June 1 in the initiation of INSEC. Prior to this, 188 victims family had received relief. The investigation process was interrupted due to the absence of representatives from the political parties, said Champa Karki, coordinator of Local Peace Committee.
