The armed conflict victims have filed applications at Local Peace Committee (LPC), Rolpa demanding for compensation. LPC office secretary Reg Bahadur Dangi informed that the different types of conflict victims of both sides had filed for compensation. According to him, 161 victims and family members including 10 injured, 14 disabled, 43 victims of robbery, nine killed, family members of seven subjected to enforced disappearance, 11 orphaned people, 16 IDPs, nine whose property was damaged, 10 people who were detained and 32 who were abducted had contacted the LPC for compensation. Bhuplal Giri, 40, of Dhanchaur in Jedwang VDC-8 said that they filed the applications as they had not received any relief amount yet. Giri was injured in the battery by the Maoists during the conflict period.
