The relatives of six people who were killed in a group by an army in Deurali VDC of Ramechhap during the armed conflict have lodged a joint complaint at Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC). The victim’s family have jointly lodged a complaint at TRC through local peace committee. Six locals of Deurali VDC were controlled by a group of the army on 2002, October 24 from their house and were shot dead at Dhungechhap of Salu VDC-1. The incident of group killing was documented in various reports. Along with this complaint, there are a total of 40 complaints lodged in Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and 17 in Commission to Investigation Enforced Disappearances (CIED) in Ramechhap district according to computer operator Khila Mahat of Local Peace Committee. INSEC has documented a total of 213 incidents of killings by both state and non-state actor and nine incident of enforced disappearances in Ramechhap district during an armed conflict.
