Banke/June 12 A family is learnt to have claimed the money provided to the family of the dead, falsely claiming they had lost a family member in the conflict. The family of Chankhu Giri, of Raniyapur had already claimed Rs 100,000 and had come to take another Rs 200,000. Local Peace Committee (LPC) Banke coordinator and INSEC Mid-Western Regional Coordinator Bhola Mahat said the LPC found out about it through a task force formed to find out about the people added to the list later. Giri family had taken the money from District Administration Office, before the formation of the LPC. Mahat added that the LPC was going to make public the real data of conflict dead and enforced disappearance. The LPC has endorsed 235 applications out of 464 filed, all claiming to be the conflict dead. It further decided to remove the names of 229 which were repeated in the list of dead, six who had died of reasons unrelated to conflict and investigation about 29 applications. As for the people reportedly subjected to enforced disappearance, 59 were endorsed while investigation on other 48 claims would be conducted. The LPC has found that some people who had been in the list of forcefully disappeared, were, in fact, wrongly enlisted. Binod Pandey बाँके । ०७० जेठ २९ गते जीवित व्यक्तिलाई मृतक बनाएर परिवारले द्वन्द्वपीडित राहत बुझेको खुलासा भएको छ । रनियापुरका चंखु गिरी जीवितै भए पनि उनका परिवारले मृतकको सूचीमा नाम पारेर राहत बुझेका छन् । चंखुको परिवारले पहिलो चरणको १ लाख रुपैँया बुझेको र जीवित रहेको खबर आएपछि दोस्रो चरणको २ लाख रुपैँया लिन आए पनि नदिइएको शान्ति समितिले जनाएको छ । गिरी परिवारले शान्ति समिति गठन हुनु पूर्व जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यलयबाट राहत रकम बुझेका थिए । शंकाष्पद र पछि थप भएकाहरूको वास्तविकता पत्ता लगाउन टोली परिचालन भएको र जेठ मसान्तभित्र मृतक र बेपत्ताको वास्तविक तथ्यांक निकाल्ने शान्ति समितिका संयोजक तथा इन्सेक मध्यपश्चिम क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयका संयोजक भोला महतले बताए । यसैगरी ४ सय ६४ मृतकको नाममा निवेदन परेकोमा २ सय ३५ लाई समितिले सदर गरेको छ । २ सय २९ जनाको दोहरिएकोले लगतबाट हटाउने, विभिन्न कारणले मृत्यु भएका ६ जनाको नाम हटाउने, २९ जनाको प्रमाणित गर्नु पर्ने, बेपत्ताको हकमा हालसम्म कायम रहेको ५९ जनालाई सदर गरेको छ भने बाँकी निवेदन प्राप्त भएका आधारमा ४८ जना वास्तविक पीडित हुन या होइनन् यकिन गर्न तथा सत्यतथ्य पत्ता लगाउन छानविन भइरहेको संयोजक महतले बताए । त्यसैगरी बेपत्ता नभएका व्यक्तिहरूको पनि बेपत्ता सूचीमा नाम राखिएको भेटिएको छ । मृतक र बेपत्ताको सत्यतथ्य पत्ता लगाउन जिल्लामा चार ओटा टोली परिचालन गरिएको छ । विनोद पाण्डे
