Chitwan,Adhikari hatya aaropit poudelllai myad thap. Judicial custody of Parashuram Paudel aka Ajeeb has been extended by 12 days on December 8. Paudel is one of the accused killers of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Phujel VDC-7, Gorkha. District Court judge Binod Mohan Acharya granted the extension for the additional investigation. Bidhyaraj Paudel, the District Court registrar informed that the term was stretched because the District Police Office had asked for it citing pending investigation. The police had asked for an extension of 12 days, SP Pradhyumna Karki said. Nine defending lawyers were arguing against the extending of the term saying the TRC would resolve the cases that occurred during the conflict. District attorney Ek Narayan Lamsal argued on behalf of Adhikari where he said that the government cannot stop the investigation when the TRC has not been formed. Paudel was arrested at his home on December 6 on charge of being one of the people killing Adhikari on June 6, 2004.
